ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Letchworth Roofing Company Limited recognises the importance of protecting the environment and has objective of operating with the minimum impact upon the environment.
It is the policy of the company to:-
Assess, control and where possible reduce the impact or potential impact of our activities on the local and general environment, in co-operation with the appropriate public authorities.
Seek to continually improve our environmental performance.
Set achievable objectives and targets, inform our employees of these and
make them available to interested parties on request.
Reduce our consumption of resources (materials, fuel and energy) and our
production of waste and emissions.
Ensure unavoidable waste is where possible re-used,
re-cycled or disposed
of in an environmentally responsible manner.
Ensure our management systems are able to detect and where possible
prevent pollution through accidental emissions or discharges.
Maintain systems, including regular audits to detect deviations from stated policy, objectives or targets and to ensure a response with the appropriate corrective action.
Advise users on the best environmental practices relating to the use and
disposal of the material our service provides.
Ensure that all employees and sub-contractors working on our sites act in accordance with this Environmental Policy followed best practice to minimise the environmental Impact of our activities.
Ensure we comply with all relevant legislation.
Publish this policy in Company promotional literature.
