For nearly 40 years, Letchworth Roofing has forged a well-earned reputation for meeting and exceeding customer expectations. For most jobs we have dedicated teams of a directly-employed labour force sometimes supplemented by our own long established supply chain of sub contractors for larger projects.  In this way we have retained skills in all aspects of industrial and commercial roofing, making us the natural list choice of our wide range of customers who entrust us to re-roof their factories and offices, often whilst remaining operational.

We rely on repeat business and for many years we have been the preferred contractor for industry, retail chains, organisations, health authorities, local authorities, surveying practices, commerce and building owners ,as well as for small local builders and some of the UK's largest construction companies.

Having such a established reputation and diverse range of customers has been our backbone, and the core to our business strength and success.

In many cases, we work alongside well-known building companies who respect our specialist knowledge and rely upon our detailed involvement right from the start of major projects.

We are often appointed as Principal Contractor to manage entire projects, from initial design concepts to detailed completion. This can include:-

  • Accurate budget planning within a culture of open feedback
  • Structural surveys to ensure any additional weight loadings fall within building tolerances
  • Acquisition of Building Regulation approvals with technical support such as weight loadings, fixing details and construction drawings
  • Submission of F10 notices
  • Detailed risk assessments, method statements and a full Health & Safety plan
  • Arranging asbestos laboratory analysis and air monitoring tests throughout
  • Full-time site management to interface between our workforce and other teams
